The Nebraska-Iowa Kiwanis Annual House of Delegates meeting is scheduled for Aug. 2, 2025 at The Graduate in Lincoln, Nebraska. This meeting is again being held in conjunction with the Annual District Convention. It is tentatively scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting will include election of officers for 2025-2026. The Nebraska-Iowa District Board is also asking the delegates to consider passage of a District Bylaw Amendment. The intent of the amendment is to allow a qualified past lt. governor from outside of a region to serve as a trustee for that region, if no one from within the region is willing or able to serve. A similar amendment to Kiwanis International’s Bylaws was approved during the 2024 International Convention in Denver. If approved by the delegates, this amendment would be effective Oct. 1, 2025.
Club secretaries may begin certifying delegates for the House of Delegates meeting. Each club may have three delegates and three alternates. Delegate forms are due Friday, July 25 and can be found HERE.
