Club & individual donations are turned into grants and put to use for projects across the globe, including right here in Nebraska and Iowa.
What happens to the donations contributed to the Children’s Fund?
While the funds contribute to the greater Kiwanis Mission and Projects Worldwide, a percentage of your contributions will come back to our District in the form of a grant. The District board then decides how best to put those grant dollars to use throughout the District.
With the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, clubs and members reach more kids. That’s because the Children’s Fund turns gifts into grants that support Kiwanis projects around the world. A gift is a way for donors to amplify their impact on kids’ health and nutrition, education and literacy, and youth leadership development.
The Children’s Fund partners with other organizations, and it partners with Kiwanis clubs of all sizes — helping them apply for grants and funding projects that serve kids.
