Outstanding Secretary

Applications will be accepted for 2025-2026 Exemplary Club. Applications are due Dec. 1, 2026 and should be submitted by the 2025-2026 club president, working with the club secretary to verify criteria. Part 1 of this application is completed by the club and Part 2 by the district.

Achievement Award: Outstanding Club Secretary 2025-2026

This award recognizes a club secretary for his/her exemplary service to a Kiwanis club. Part 1 of Application: The club’s president should verify with the secretary the required duties checklist in Section 1. Secretaries need to meet at least 8 of the 10 criteria on the checklist and have submitted their club’s monthly report each month, preferably by the 10th of the month. Part 2 of Application: The District Awards Committee, after receiving this application, will verify the information in Section 2.

Attend at least one virtual club chat for secretaries hosted by the District.

For Awards Committee

District Awards Committee will verify the following required criteria for Outstanding Secretary through Kiwanis International reporting.

1. Monthly reports filed online each month, preferably by the 10th of the month.
2. 2026-2027 Officer Election reported by June 1, 2026.
3. Annual membership roster updated by Oct. 10, 2026.
4. Attended at least one of the following: Division Council Meeting, Regional Meeting, District Retreat, District Convention or Kiwanis International Convention.
5. Complete Club Leadership Education during summer of 2026.
