The Nebraska-Iowa Kiwanis House of Delegates will meet Saturday, Aug. 8 at Mid America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Time to be announced.
The delegates will be asked to consider a bylaw amendment and a resolution.
Amendment 1 2026
Purpose: To be in compliance with Kiwanis International’s Standard Form For District Bylaws, the Nebraska-Iowa Kiwanis delegates are asked to amend the District Bylaws as follows: 1) change wording on background checks for district officers and lt. governors from “clear” to “satisfactory. A background check need not be entirely clear to be acceptable. Satisfactory is a more accurate term; and 2) provide a more in-depth and encompassing definition of conduct unbecoming of a Kiwanian by including the updated definition in Kiwanis International Policy.

A resolution to support Kiwanis Voices, a new kind of club for young adults ages 18-6, and waive district dues for Voices members the five (5) year duration of the Pilot Program, or until such time Kiwanis International terminates the Pilot Program.
